How Aerated Filteration Systems work

MG Roberts Plumbing P/L > How Aerated Filteration Systems work

The Ozzi Kleen Sewage Treatment System uses activated sludge through cyclic aeration (oxygen), just like most modern town and industrial sewage treatment plants in Australia, and around the world. The Ozzi Kleen Sewage Treatment System is the only household system that can offer you this.

1. Raw Sewage

Raw water enters the tank and is oxygenated via an aerator, which breaks down the waste from the naturally aerobic bacteria.

2. Aeration Cycle

After the aeration cycle ceases it allows the solids to settle, creating a layer of clear water ready for decanting.

3. Settling Cycle

The decanter then draws off the clear effluent and passes through a chlorinator into the effluent tank.

4. Decant Cycle

The effluent pump then pumps out disinfected effluent to the irrigation area.
